January

So I know it has been a while since I have posted, and I am sorry about that. But there really hasn't been much to blog about. I guess it seems like that, because everything we have blogged (if blogged isn't a word, it sure is now) about has been something significant.
But our last month has been nice, there hasn't been too much snow. We had to take down our adorable Christmas decorations down, which I was SO sad about. We have been working on our meal planning, and planning a menu for the week. It has been working really well. We have drawn up a budget for us, since we plan on buying a house sometime this year. It hasn't been very tough for us to stick to. I got a bonus at work, and Cody will as well, so we have decided to buy new counches that I have fallen in love with. We are very excited to buy those in a couple weeks.
We are planning a trip to California next month. For our one year anniversary (since we started dating eachother) which also happens to be Valentine's Day, we figured we would take a trip to California and go to Disneyland together. Also we want to go to dinner near the ocean for actual Valentine's Day. So that will be a lot of fun. Plus, I need a visit to my family, it has been way too long.
So that will be us for the next month. Just looking about weekly or more for a home, trying to see what exactly is out there, in the areas we would like to live as we start our family in a couple years.
Other than that it has just been life as usual. Although I have gotten a bit spoiled this month. Cody bought me the entire Twilight series in hardback (I had paperback) and 2 hoodies and a new purse! I seriously am spoiled to the MAX! He takes such good care of me, I couldn't have asked for more. Anything that he can do to make my life easier, he will do. Like the other day, he took the vents off the walls and painted them white, because he thought it looked better, and it would make me happy (plus he was bored at home while I was at work). See, we need a house so Cody doesn't go crazy with no improvement projects that he can do, actually, it is driving us both crazy. I want to paint, he wants to knock walls down and build things...its just time to get our own space instead of renting!
I hope you all are well. Hope to hear from you all as we have been, its been great to keep up with everyone and what they are all doing. Keep up the good work!

Being in a home would be the best thing in the world. We have been married for 4 years and we still rent. We have almost bought a home twice, but in the end it just wasn't right. For us it will all be in the Lords time.
