Last Weekend

Alright, so it has been a while again since I have blogged...its only because we have been going about life as usual. I started this on like Monday, and I am just now getting around to posting it. Nothing exciting has happened, just our usual....going to work, hanging out, and going on date nights about twice a week. I guess I could blog about our fun date nights, but usually they are us going to dinner, talking about funny things, being us, and going home with a redbox, or going to the movies. We also like to go to dinner and go grocery shopping, we even make that fun. It doesnt matter what we do, as long as we are getting out together, I think at least, even staying in and playing games is a blast. But I will go ahead and blog about this weekend.
Friday night me and Cody decided to take advantage of the nice weather, so we went for a long walk when I got home from work. It was fun. We thought we would walk to dinner, but after walking a mile and a half, we hadnt found anything, so we decided to walk home. We jumped in the car when we got home and drove to find somewhere that sounded appealing. Every once in a while, Cody will get in an adventurous mood like this and go out without a plan. I like to do it whenever, but he is a planner. Anyway, we got to Mimi's Cafe (one of my personal favorites) and had a lovely dinner. We went home, watched a movie and went to bed.
Saturday was a fun day, I went and got my haircut by Briana (she is wonderful, and looking for new clients), went to brunch with my friend Meghan, and then Meghan and I went shoe shopping. Needless to say I came home with 4 pairs of shoes (and it didnt even phase Cody at all). WOOHOO! I also got a purse to match one of them. But those of you who know me well, know I dont pay full price for anything, including shoes. From there we went home. When I got home Cody was working hard, vacuuming, cleaning up, and dewinterizing our place (yeah, maybe we should have waited on that). But he was very proud of himself when I came home and he had vacuumed, was in the middle of doing a load of laundry, and he was washing dishes. After that, we went on our weekly trip to Costco, and made a stop at the grocery store.
When we got home, we made homemade pizza (Cody loves my homemade pizza more than any other pizza in the world, or so he says, why, I dont know...)
Then off to the movies. We went and saw Bride Wars at the dollar theater. We love going there, so cheap, saves us a lot of money if we are willing to just wait a month to go see the movies. Plus we dont watch tv almost at all, so we dont know whats come out anyway. But it was a highly entertaining movie. We absolutely loved it. Even Cody thought it was quite hilarious, so its not just a chick flick. Cody is good about that though, he will watch any movie with me and not complain. He even took me to Twilight when it came out in the theater, which is like the ultimate chick flick. But needless to say it was another fun date weekend.

Now I must go iron my clothes to go to the temple, and I will be able to post about yet another great week or weekend...
